This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
NYS has changed the standards and curriculum for Earth Science. I need to update my lab materials to meet these standards so that my students can explore celestial events in our classroom.
I need 360-degree compasses so that my students can plot the orbits of planets and the Moon around Earth.
My students come to class every day eager to learn, and my program is growing! Please help me adapt to the new standards and get the materials my students need to complete the new required investigations.
Students learn best with hands-on materials, so having enough compasses for students to work at their own pace will ensure success for all.
