My Students
The third-grade students at our community school are eager to learn. Many of them come to school and are very low academically. I am always looking for ways to engage them.
The third graders want to be immersed in their learning.
I want my students to be excited to come to school and learn. I want them to think outside the box when it comes to ways to improve their reading
My school is located on the East Side. It houses full-time Pre-K to 8th grade. All students receive free breakfast and lunch. The area of the school is a high poverty zone. My students come from difficult upbringings but they are worthy of the best education I can give them. I will do whatever it takes to make their learning engaging and effective.
My Project
I’m giving each student a brand new folder, pencil, and writing notebook, they will feel like a writer. Often times students struggle with writing and these Materials will be fresh and new and hopefully the ideas will pour off the pages.
The file folders will help to organize my student’s writing and will be a place to keep their composition notebooks.
The pencil sharpener will help my students be able to quickly sharpen a pencil and continue on with their writing task.
I want all of my students to have their own space within a small classroom setting. The file folders will help achieve this.
