My Project
Our school is participating in the Project Soapbox Program, which calls young people to speak out on issues that affect them and their communities.
Students brainstorm about issues that they feel passionate about and research about these issues. Students will write speeches to present to our school community.
I would like to provide students with Expo markers for them to brainstorm ideas on dry-erase boards and various different colored pens for them to create speech prompt cue cards. In addition, batteries so that they can film themselves using the Flip Camera. Lastly, Sharpie markers will be used to create posters or also used for cue cards.
