This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The goal for this year is to make the students confident, successful, and passionate writers. My students come to school eager to learn and express themselves. However, writing can be a challenging task for many of my students. Those challenges stem from a lack of positive writing experiences. These writing tools (folders, journals, fun pens, post-its..) will help them become more engaged in the writing process.
Help me, help the students to become accomplished and powerful authors, who fall in love with writing.
They will be able to use the journals and writing tools for morning work, writing practice, and social-emotional learning. An organized writing tool system will support many students of special education, ELL, and below academic level. All these things may seem like small details, but students love writing in innovative ways.
Writing is such a powerful tool! Help me unlock all the fantastic authors in my classroom. I would love to instil a love of writing that would create a room full of writers eager to share their stories on paper.
