This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

"I want to draw with lots of colors". This is a statement often heard from my multilingual learners. All my students are learning to read and write in Spanish, their native language.

These resources will support student engagement and foster an environment to apply their literacy and writing skills.

For example, chart paper and markers will aid the process of the teacher modeling and students sharing their work. All students will have access to paper and crayons to draw and write. Adding these materials will inspire and spark many hours of writing.
