My Project

Teachers engaged in learning around The Writing Revolution, and now we'd like to bring that learning back to our students. The author of The Writing Revolution has a text for students titled Writing Revolution: 101 Tips and Ideas for Young Writers

by Beverly Ward.

This would be taught in grades 3, 4, 5th for writing instruction for students to use. I also added tools to add fun in writing for them, like Mr. Sketch Markers for table groups, pens for editing, bulletin boards to publish work, and posters to encourage our writers. Our students have sensory breaks throughout their day. The sensory tools and a sensory path will be used for this. We know writing is a tough area for students, so I thought prepping with a sensory path would be wise. I appreciate the funding to support our students in the area of writing, and the tools to make this happen. Thank you.
