Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My young scholars are cheerful, curious, and hardworking. On a daily basis, they enter my classroom eager to learn. They enjoy learning, working in small groups, and art. My students attend a Title I school, where most students come from low social-economic households.
Our classroom writing center will be equipped with tools to improve writing and reading skills.
I am putting together ELA (English Language Arts) printable games with copy paper. Students will practice their alphabet, phonics, and sentence structure. It's important to laminate printable games to protect the paper from damage. The Scotch laminating pouches will do the job.
In addition, being able to use dry erase markers with the laminated printable games is essential. Students can practice writing skills and easily erase. This will help save copy paper and laminated printable games can be used for many years. Sometimes students will be assessed in writing skills or/and writing tasks will be sent home. These printable games will not be laminated, just copied. Students will use pencils, instead of dry erase markers.
