This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I have the largest amount of students in my classroom than any other room at my school. I am currently teaching thirty-one first-graders in a Title I school, located in a high poverty and high crime area of Pennsylvania.
All of my students receive free breakfast and lunch.
Many of my students come from homes where English is not spoken. I have three special education students and four ESL (English as a Second Language) students in my classroom. Six of the students in my classroom have an in-class social worker.
My Project
My students will be writing stories on our new copy paper about what they want to learn in first grade. They will also be writing stories about how to behave in different areas of the building.
After my students write stories on our new copy paper, they will get to print their stories using our new black and colored ink.
Without your support, we will not be able to print anything since we no longer have ink or paper in our printer.
Thanks so much for your support for helping out my little ones.
Your thoughtfulness and kindness is greatly appreciated.
