Writing Portfolios: Showcasing Student Growth and Creativity

My Project

I love the hard work and dedication my students put into their work, especially their writing. I would like file folders for my students so that they can keep a writing portfolio that represents all their hard work. All writing work will be done in class and each student will have their own dedicated file folder to hold their original writings, as well as any revisions they choose to make. This will allow students to see their progress over the course of the year and look back over the year with pride in all they’ve achieved. The Expo markers and large post-it note paper will allow students to show their thinking in small groups prior to completing their writing task. My students are the best and truly deserve this!
