This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are hard workers wanting to improve their writing and create personal narrative stories. They enjoy writing, drawing, and want to become their own authors and illustrators.
One way they want to show what they know is by creating hardcover books.
They are more engaged learners when they have their own choice and materials! Donating to this project would help me provide 50 books for my two dual immersion classes so that they can create their own narratives. The markers, pencils and pencil sharpener will also help provide them with tools to complete this project.
