Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Donating to help fund this project will allow my students to begin the writing process in a fun and enjoyable way! As my kindergarten EL students are learning to form the letters correctly it will be such a fun way to teach them using the writing paper that includes the colored illustrations for the “sky-fence-grass-dirt” method.

I will use chart paper for modeling in whole group setting and later to produce class stories.

Once students learn to form the letters correctly, we will work to build sentences and use the awesome Space Men to make sure there is adequate spacing between words. I will also use the baskets and colored bins to organize center rotations.

The other classroom necessitates will come in handy and it will be such a blessing to not have to purchase everything out of my pocket.

My students love the slightest things like the smell if scented Lysol. It really doesn’t take a lot to make them happy. These items will bring a smile to their face 100%! Thank you so much for helping me to get my year started with the things I need. As a teacher going on my 28th year, I really appreciate you!!
