My Students
I never go through a day without a student's big smile and a happy wave. My students come from a high poverty area where resources are stretched thin. We are a Title I school where 83% of my students receive free or reduced-price lunch.
They are all visual learners and need concrete examples to help them understand and comprehend the skills they are learning.
I have 18 loving, full of energy, and lots of enthusiasm. They love to learn hands on!
My Project
My students will get to be in charge of their learning. They will have the opportunity to get comfortable as they work on their writing skills. Often, my students struggle in school and really deserve the supplies they need to meet the standards they will eventually be tested on.
These little babies love to work and be creative with their hands.
This will allow them to explore with the different opportunities given. Not all students learn the same way so this allows a differentiated style of learning. The flexible seating and different types of writing materials will target all students and give them the opportunity to be creative and be themselves.
