We have begun a Writers Workshop in the sixth grade. During my training, I received a composition book where I started to write my small moments.
My composition book is decorated and full of my writings. I want our students to have the same resource available to them. Unfortunately most of the kids can't afford a notebook of their own.
With one notebook for each student we can show that this is indeed important. We truly value all of our writing. Sharing our work each day will develop the voices in our stories.
Somewhere in this group is the next Hemingway or Dickens or Austin. Please help to make our small moments become memorable.
