My Students

Our school serves students in grades K-2. My class is unique, as I serve many students with disabilities. I am happy to work with a group of wonderful students. Each student is unique in their own way. The items requested in this project will not only help my students succeed academically, but will also give them a sense of pride. It is very important to reach students where they are and my responsibility is to show growth of every student I come into contact with.

My Project

These materials will be used to increase the penmanship of my students. The students will be able to practice writing upper and lower case letters. The students will also be able to practice writing numbers. After alphabets and numbers are successfully mastered, we will move onto CVC (Consonant Vowel Consonant) words and make simple sentences. During the pandemic everything has been electronic, students within the last two years have pretty much completed all work on a computer. The writing tablets requested will help the students get back in the habit of writing and forming words and numbers correctly.
