Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I have thirty-six enthusiastic students in my class! They are from mostly low-income homes, and many are second-language learners. They love listening to any book!
These picture books will give my students a chance to learn about new topics!
With the information in these books, my fourth graders will have many interesting subjects about which to write. By combining what they've learned in multiple books, they will be able to show their learning. Each book is related to a National Day, which will add to their interest in the topics.
