This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My bilingual students are eager to learn every day and excited to work in collaborative groups. They find joy in the little things and appreciate living in a country where children are valued and encouraged.

Not only are they excited to learn from me, their teacher, but they eagerly help one other reach new heights when working with their collaborative groups.

Each day, they do their best to match my high expectations for them. They inspire me with their drive and dedication at such a young age.

My Project

My students and I need a way to hang pocket charts in our classroom because there is not a way to do so right now. We also need a magnetic whiteboard easel to display our work and move around the classroom.

These items will help students collaborate with each other and with me, the teacher.

I know that having these materials will make it easier for students to learn and apply their new learning inside and outside our classroom. In addition, students will be able to manipulate the magnetic letters they use to learn on this easel.
