As a teacher at a Title I school, I know that my students are mostly from low-income homes. My students are very happy and eager to learn. They come from many different backgrounds and communities. Although they are all different, we are a family in our classroom.
My students are hard workers and enthusiastic learners.
School is so important to my students and gives them a steady environment. In our class, we incorporate a variety of learning strategies, group work, and alternative learning options to ensure that each student's needs are met.
My Project
This project will help my students have daily editing tasks, a writing center and posters for writing tips. With this project, I will be able to set up a writing center for my students with 101 story starters for kids. I will also be able to incorporate a daily paragraph editing task to help students recognize errors in writing and have posters, such as the synonyms poster to help students find new ways to write words.
This project will help my students become successful readers and writers.
Students will utilize high lighters to help decode questions in reading, writing, math, and science. They will also use stylus pens to show how they decode these questions on my smart TV.
