This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My kids are eager to learn and improve themselves. They are writers who need some revising experience and with these tools they will flourish! Most of them are writing 2 grades under their current grade. Help us close the gap!

My students are a really well behaved class.

Though we have good days and bad days we are a very open class. They have tons of questions! They are hard workers and their personalities help the day go smoothly. We have our sensitive students whose goal is to be better at handling social situations. We have our hyper students who are always awaiting the next challenge. Our school is one of the best middles schools in our town.

My Project

Students will all be writing first and final drafts and originals of essays with their pens which will be located in the pen caddies. When they finish drafts their work will be collected and returned graded for the next revision in their personal cubby. Those who need additional time will keep their working set in their cubby until they're ready to submit.

It will be a change from writing with pencils.

Which will help student's handwriting and get used to writing script in strides with pens. The organizational skills are intended for students to reapply in their personal lives.
