This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My first graders are enthusiastic, motivated learners. They come each day to school with a smile and ready to learn. Writing is an integral part of their learning and I want to engage them in some fun, independent writing activities that will support everything we've been learning about writing. In order to develop a successful writing center there needs to be organization. With this storage cart I will be able to organize a variety of writing materials so that my students may be able to create different types of writing while practicing sentence formation and spelling skills. The floor seat will be a nice alternative seating option for the students when they are at the writing center. I'd like to thank you in advance for your support in getting these fabulous resources to my students to enhance their writing skills by assisting them with organization and comfy seating!
