Writing Can Be Fun and Exciting in 3rd Grade!

My students need 34 Writing Process folders to keep their work organized and to help them become better writers. We also need a staple gun.

My Students

My third grade gifted and talented class is a diverse group of students from countries all around the world. They thrive on learning, building, and creating. This year we will be studying countries around the world, which will be a fun journey. We will also be using the Writing Process to help us grow as writers. Whether we are doing science, math, reading novels, or researching countries, there are certain supplies we will need to help us maximize our growth and creativity. I believe Donors Choose can help us by supplying us with the materials needed to help us grow and thrive.

My Project

My third grade gifted and talented class will be using the Writing Process this year in order to grow as writers. The Writing Process folders are designed to keep student work organized and sorted in a sequential mannner. Each step to the Writing Process is printed for them to see and so are many great writing tips. These folders will encourage the students to write by making it fun for them because they are colorful and unique. Writing should be fun! I want to make it fun for my students. The writing they will do using these folders will prepare them for future grades all the way through college. And they can keep using them if they choose. The staple gun will be used to display students published work in a decorative manner.
