Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are creative and able to write wonderful stories. We were able to get funding for paper, pencils, and staplers. Now they would like to have supplies to help them publish their books.
Students that publish become more secure in their skills and are more likely to practice their writing.
Writers need highlighters to emphasize keywords, pens and markers to create illustrations, hole reinforcements to keep papers intact, pocket protectors to help them keep their pages together, and laminating sheets to make their covers sturdy. And, of course, they need staple removers to help remove their staples when they are ready to add a more permanent binding!
