My Students
Writing is a very important skill. At our school we are focusing on non-fiction.
My students are bright, sweet children, who don't get many breaks in life.
They have been through more than any child should have to the last months are working hard to over come some great obstacles. They are hard workers and deserve as much as they can be given.
My Project
My students need writing notebooks, dividers, a mobile organizer, and CD holder and supplies for writing. These resources will help my students to learn how to write a story, both fiction and non-fiction. They will learn how to organize their writing in a notebook. They will learn how to look at mentor texts to base their writing on. Looking at good writers who write in all different genres will teach them so much.
These children work hard and try their best.
You would not find a group of such sweet, amazing children. I am counting on putting together these notebooks so they can succeed to their highest potential. The sky is the limit with these minds!
