Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Materials like table covers, real dictionaries, and a variety of paper, writing utensils, and publication tools will help my students feel prepared and capable, ready to work on their writing skills like professionals. Any job is easier with the proper tools and workspace. It's hard to feel comfortable and confident in your skills when even your writing surface is falling apart. By creating a clean, cohesive, organized atmosphere, we can help lower anxiety levels and focus on the important elements of writing and publishing.

In a more organized, less dilapidated setting, students will be better able to focus on learning and growing.

The best way to increase writing ability is with practice, practice, practice. And the best way to get students to practice is to provide them with the materials they need, as well as a safe, comfortable place to work. My students are already developing into proficient writers, and I want to keep that momentum going!
