My Students
I teach 3rd grade, my students are thirsty for knowledge! My students are creative, excited, and inquisitive. They enjoy figuring things out on their own and hands-on learning.
My students are enthusiastic learners and love to take charge of their own learning.
My students consist of general education students and English language learners. Almost half of my students are English Language Learners, but that doesn’t stop them from trying their best all the time. My school is a Title I school, this means that most of my students come from low income families.
My Project
The materials and supplies that I am requesting will be used to motivate my students in my class. The post-it easel pad will be used for gallery walks for math, it will help our classroom become more student driven! Students will be able to display mathematical thinking on large surfaces. The ink will help ensure that students can continue to do projects like creating information books that teach readers about topics which students are experts on, such as camping, animals, destinations, people, and more!
The donations to this project will help me give my students' more autonomy in their learning.
