This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I am a third-grade immersion teacher in an IB school. My third graders learn mostly in Spanish while applying a global perspective to the entire curriculum. The goal of the program is for students to be able to fluently read and write in both English and Spanish while applying a global mindset to their everyday lives.

I want to provide them with an amazing learning environment that has the materials to provide the differentiation so that each student can thrive.

My Project

I would like to provide my students with supplies to create a writing center to use during their center time. I would also like to have storage space to organize supplies my students will use to create models of their learning.

In our classroom, we truly enjoy creating models to explain the material learned in class.

My students are incredibly creative and artistic and one of the preferred ways to show their learning has been creating models.

I will supply them with different craft materials and they will be able to create models during their individualized center time.
