My Project

Each year, I host a personal narrative workshop that allows students to write stories that reflect their identities.

Their stories encapsulate me as they allow me to get to know my students, while having a peek at the struggles and inner turmoil that they face in their daily lives.

The notebooks allow my scholars to brainstorm and jot down any thoughts they may have.

The tennis balls go on the bottom of my students' desks, and they allow my students to move in different areas of the room without causing a disturbance.
