My students need 3 sets of dry-erase answer boards to review concepts before a test or to practice concepts after lessons. We also need 3 sets of dividers to allow for privacy during tests.
Save the trees! We are tired of practicing our lessons on notebook paper and then throwing the paper away when we are done. How much better for the earth if we could have dry-erase boards to practice lessons and review concepts and then just erase our answers? Please help!
My students attend a small school in rural Nebraska.
Our student population fluctuates constantly as we have a large number of students who move in and out during the school year. The majority of students at this school are also from a lower socioeconomic status. They would greatly benefit from your support.
My Project
The number of students in my classroom and the close proximity of seating makes studying, doing assignments, and taking tests difficult. Having 3 sets of privacy partitions to set on the desks will allow my students the ability to do all of the above with fewer distractions! The 3 sets of dry-erase boards will make practicing lesson concepts and reviewing material in all subject areas more fun. It also allows me, as the teacher, to assess which students "get it" and which ones need more practice without having to turn in papers. These materials will be used in all subject areas for multiple purposes and will greatly benefit my class. Thank you in advance for your support!
Students are so easily distracted by what their peers are doing.
Having dividers between students during testing especially will help many of the students focus on what they are doing. Individual dry-erase boards are a great way to keep all the students actively involved in the lesson, which improves proficiency levels on assessments. These materials will impact all the students I teach for years!
