Write The Right Way

My students need 5 of the Writing Common Core Standards Learning Centers to improve their writing.

My Students

My students are amazing writers, but I want them to be even better. They love putting their thoughts on paper and the web. This project will may lead some of them to become authors one day.

My students attend an urban, inner-city, Title I school in Upstate, South Carolina.

They love to read, write, and do science. They are not big math fans, but we are working on that. They have recently discovered blogging. They are quickly becoming addicted to this form of writing. I want them to become better writers and editors as they have now discovered how to present their writing to the world via the web.

My Project

I am requesting 5 sets of the Common Core Writing Centers. These centers will be used in group learning times where students will edit their own papers as well as their friends. Currently my room is arranged in groups and these centers will fit nicely into the classroom setting. They will provide students with opportunities to write in a variety of formats such as narratives, opinions, informational, and descriptive. Their good writing will only become better with these centers.

My students deserve the best!!!
