My Project

In preschool, students learn through playing. This makes learning and early school experiences fun and educational, building a foundation for success in their future school years.

This project will provide materials for the Early Childhood Special Education class to motivate young learners to practice writing and pre-writing skills.

Students will improve and strengthen their fine motor skills by using a magnetic stylus to manipulate magnets on boards. They can also create pictures using stickers, again utilizing fine motor skills to peel off the stickers and place them in precise areas. Additionally, for more advanced students, there are boards that include visuals of the strokes necessary for writing letters and numbers accompanied by an area to practice.
