My Students

In our kindergarten classrooms in Eastlake, Ohio, our kiddos are lucky enough to be in a wonderful building where collaborative learning is something we do daily. The open spaces and state-of-the-art classrooms lend themselves to creating life-long learners.

What I love most about my students is their excitement and love for learning.

They see the ​joy in every day at school. Our school may be big, but it is also close-knit; like a family, and we want to make sure our students continue to love, enjoy and find excitement in every school day.

Although our school provides excellent opportunities for all students, There are some things that we do not have at our fingertips. I want to make sure my kindergartners have everything and more for an amazing first year of school.

My Project

By giving each student their own writing journal, I'm showing them how important writing is and how special they each are to receive their very own, brand new writing journal. What sets these journals apart from a simple spiral bound notebook is the handwriting lines and the space on each page for an illustration - perfect for kindergarteners!

Having a successful Writer's Workshop is so important in kindergarten because you are responsible for molding their ability to, and love for, writing.

I want to be able to give my kiddos the best materials to help them write each day, especially their very own journals.
