My students need individual write and wipe boards in order to complete various classroom activities without using paper since that is in very short supply.

My Students

Remember the beginning of the school year when you entered the classroom and saw all of the new supplies? Due to severe budget cuts this year, my students will NOT experience this. I have done my best to provide them with the basics but since there are 38 students, my cash flow is stuck on empty

We are in a low-income, high poverty setting where 95% of our students receive free lunch.

For the last 25 years I have spent a great deal of my own personal money on basic school supplies. I am asking for help from you so that I can create a productive and rigorous learning environment for my students without taking away from my own family. I am in need of your help in purchasing individual whiteboards for activities to enhance my curriculum. I do my best to work with the lack of supplies, and never let this obstacle get in the way of teaching my students. My students are hard working, compassionate, and challenged individuals who deserve equal opportunities. Having access to these supplies will ensure my students a motivating environment to learn! An essential part of any elementary school day is small-group instruction. My day consists of taking time to work with small groups in all content areas throughout the day. I especially focus on math and reading instruction.

My Project

With the small-group materials I am requesting, my students will receive an even more enriching experience when I am working with them. My students need individual write and wipe boards in order to complete various classroom activities without using paper since that is in very short supply. Students will be able to practice skills each day without using paper which is in short supply. They will be able to practice writing letters, words, and sentences for reading and solve basic equations during math. These materials will help make sure they have everything they need to practice their skills and learn new ones daily.

These simple supplies will help my classroom run smoothly and efficiently.

Students will have tools and supplies they need in arms reach! This will have a huge impact on our learning and enable us to participate in many lessons and activities.
