My Project

In my 8th grade math classroom, students work from unit books filled with guided notes, practice problems, and real-world applications of math concepts. While these books help keep learning structured and organized, I want to make our note-taking and classwork more interactive, accessible, and supportive—especially for students who are absent or need a second look at the day's lesson.

With the addition of an iPad, I will be able to wirelessly connect to our Promethean Board and write directly on the same handouts my students are using in their books.

This allows me to model problem-solving in real time, highlight key ideas, and capture all annotations digitally. After class, I can easily save these notes, convert handwritten work to typed content when needed, and upload everything for students to review at home.

This will especially help:

Students who are absent and need to catch up

Students who need visual reinforcement and step-by-step examples

Families who want to support their children with homework at home
