My Project
Writing is an important part of middle school language arts. Students learn to express their ideas, organize their thoughts and engage their audience. We write to respond to what we read and we write to share ideas.
Our class needs a set of notebooks for journaling, markers, pens and templates to jot, write and draw to make our thinking visible.
Journals are wonderful personal launchpads for students to express themselves. When students practice writing every day in a journal, they become stronger writers and thinkers. Making writing routine is key.
