My Project

Help me give my Pre-K students a writing table that sparks creativity, encourages self-expression, and supports early literacy in a cozy, engaging space. Young children thrive when their environment encourages exploration, and this writing table provides a special space for them to draw, scribble, and embark on their journey as confident communicators. It will also help keep our classroom organized by providing a dedicated spot for writing tools, journals, and paper.

A “Write Spot” just for them will turn scribbles into stories!

With a dedicated writing table, my goal is to create a cozy and inviting space where students feel empowered to express their thoughts through drawing and early writing. Whether they’re practicing letters, labeling their pictures, or creating birthday cards for friends, this table will encourage meaningful literacy experiences every day. It will support fine motor development, language skills, and a love of learning.

My students are bright, curious, and full of big ideas. Many come from diverse backgrounds and bring unique stories and languages to our classroom community. They deserve the tools and spaces that help them feel seen, heard, and celebrated. With your support, we can give these young learners the foundation they need to grow into joyful readers and writers.
