This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I teach a talented, inquisitive group of bilingual third graders, as well as students from the Gifted and Talented Education Program and the conventional program.
Our students love to write, but we frequently run out of pencils and our sharpeners give out on us from the normal wear and tear of the classroom.
With a new pencil sharpener and pencils, my students will be able to put their ideas on paper and use the colored pencils to illustrate their ideas.
Your help will ensure that my English Language Learners, as well as the conventional and gifted students can practice all the wonderful writing strategies that we are teaching them.
