This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are kind and humbled students who receive Special Education services on the areas for reading, writing, and math. They appreciate and welcome any new ideas, I introduce them to. These students are from low socio-economic areas and are faced with several challenges that can affect their motivation and attitude toward subjects like writing. These factors can sometimes make it difficult for students to see the value of writing or to feel confident in their abilities. However, with the right encouragement and support, these students can develop a love for writing. They will be more motivated to journal, draw, and solve math problems while writing with a special kid pen. Using colorful pens can make writing more creative and expressive. Kids can experiment with different colors and styles, making writing not just about forming letters but also about creative expression. This can improve both their handwriting and their desire to write. Fun pens with vibrant colors may help increase engagement, motivation, positive attitude, enjoyment, productivity, and the desire to write more. Please consider donating to our Special Education writing project. The students will be very appreciative.
