Help me give my students interactive lessons, using markers, finger pointers, flashcards, puzzles, and an organized space with bins and drawers!!! All while being able to wiggle in their seat with wiggle bands!

My Project

The use of whiteboards is almost a daily activity in my classroom. I ask students to get out their whiteboards so that they can work out a math problem with me, or spell something independently. I have noticed that my students have more fun writing on whiteboards than on paper. The markers from this project will be put to immediate use in the hands of my students for effective and interactive lessons!

My students love to help around the classroom, and by providing storage with lids and storage with easy-access drawers, they will be ecstatic to use our materials and put them away neatly and independently!

I strive for our classroom to be safe and welcoming place; therefore storage and organization is important. When the classroom is messy and things are difficult to find, the tasks are more difficult for myself and my students, and we waste precious learning time looking among unorganized items.

Next, my students need to move! They will wiggle any way I allow them. The chair bands will go around the bottom of their chair and allow them to bounce their feet and wiggle all they want while paying attention. I look forward to my students having the opportunity to wiggle while focusing and not distracting others.

Lastly, there are learning puzzles and flashcards included so that my students may learn on their own, building a puzzle, or playing a word game. My students LOVE to be independent and be successful using the strategies I have taught them. By having learning games and puzzles available, they will be able to do just that, learn and grow in my classroom using their own strategies!
