Help me give my students the whiteboards and other supplies needed to work from home and stay engaged.
FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. Freels's classroom raised $330

My Students
I have fifty-two diverse third grade learners. My students show a great amount of enthusiasm for learning. They are particularly interested in EVERYTHING technology right now due to learning from home! Their excitement for learning is exhibited daily, as is their support for their peers.
“All of us do not have equal backgrounds, but all of us should have an equal opportunity to develop.”
We are in a mostly low-income/high-poverty school district, with many of my students facing several challenges both in and out of the classroom. We strive to make school an enjoyable experience where all students feel safe and engaged. As their teacher and an educator of color, I aim to foster their curiosity through equity and a love of learning. We appreciate donations as well as any positive thoughts you send our way!
My Project
The use of whiteboards is almost a daily activity in my classroom, during all subjects. We will be using the whiteboards during different parts of my lesson, for guided practice and to record modeled strategies. The whiteboards allow me to see exactly what they are doing and check for understanding, as well as provide an easy place for them to show and share their work. During virtual learning, students can participate using the whiteboard, by sharing their responses on the whiteboard using their dry erase marker and eraser.
By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, but you will also ultimately help to increase their academic achievement.
Students will be able to simply focus on the academic material at hand, and not whether they are first to respond in the chat or if someone is copying their answers. Most of all this will ensure everyone can participate because they have the needed materials.
