My students need these journals to become the best writers they can be. The students will use these journals daily to share their thoughts, feelings and things they have learned.

My Students
There aren't enough words to help me describe how my students make me feel on a daily basis. Each one becomes a part of me and fills my heart with so much love and joy. Their curiosity and excitement for discovery and learning make me better everyday. In our classroom we all learn, struggle and succeed together as a group. They encourage each other everyday. I am so lucky to watch them grow throughout the year and become these marvelous leaders ready to take on the next year and the world! Even years from now when they're all grown up, I want them to know I will still be thinking of and be a part of their support system. In my classroom we are a family that gets through it all!
My Project
With these writing journals the student's work has a chance to come to life. They will have a place to practice their writing skills on a daily basis. Along with their writing they will get to express their work by adding on artwork. They will also get a chance to share their writing in front of peers, teachers and their parents. They can also see their own progress from the beginning of the year on. Watching their own progress will help them continuously set their own goals for learning as well as remind them how far they have come throughout the year!
