Write It Out: Dry Erase Tables for Math Success!

My Project

My students are enthusiastic, curious learners who love tackling challenges—especially in math! Many of them benefit from visual and hands-on learning strategies to fully grasp mathematical concepts. They come from diverse backgrounds and often need extra support to stay engaged and make learning stick.

In our classroom, small group instruction is key.

It allows me to give focused attention and tailor lessons to meet individual needs. Now, we just need the right tools to take our learning to the next level!

This project will provide two dry erase activity tables for our small group area. These special tables will allow students to write directly on the surface while solving math problems, showing their thinking, and working collaboratively with their peers.

Instead of paper and pencil alone, students can draw number lines, model equations, sketch out their ideas, and receive real-time feedback during lessons. These tables will transform our small group sessions into engaging, interactive learning experiences.

Dry erase tables make learning more fun, visual, and immediate—especially for students who benefit from movement and hands-on strategies. Mistakes can be erased quickly, encouraging a growth mindset and willingness to take risks in math.
