My Project

My first grade students are naturally curious and full of wonder. Every day, they come to school eager to learn, ask questions, and explore new ideas. They are bright, hardworking, and deserving of materials that match their developmental needs and help them thrive. With the right tools, these young learners can grow into confident readers, writers, and thinkers.

Help my young writers take their first big steps!

My first-grade classroom needs primary lined composition books designed specifically to support early handwriting and writing development. With your help, I can provide every student with the right tools to grow their writing skills with confidence.

In first grade, students begin their journey as writers—learning to form letters, build words, and express their ideas in complete sentences. This foundational stage is critical for long-term literacy success. Primary composition books, with wider spacing and a dotted midline, give students the visual support they need to write correctly and legibly. These notebooks include a space for drawing, helping students connect writing with creativity and comprehension. Without them, it’s difficult to practice handwriting. The notebooks also provide a great visual for students to see their writing progress throughout the school year. Thank you for helping me give my young learners the writing foundation they deserve!
