This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My 8th grade scholars are excited about what Mathematics has to offer. We are always reflecting, adjusting and looking for new ways to make learning fun and meaningful, at the same time. In a previous project (years ago), I received dry erase tables for my classroom. This project would replace the interactive dry erase tables in my classroom. My current tables have been used and used and used… It is time for new ones.

In Math class, my students need to show their work and they LOVE to use the interactive dry erase tables to do so.

Using the tables motivate, engage and promote critical thinking skills.

My classroom has diverse learners that need differentiation to be successful, specifically within their instruction, stations, and seating. The tables will allow us to have different activities taking place within our classroom while utilizing our space effectively and safely. We need new tables that are sturdy, safe and allow for this to take place productively. Without donors like you, opportunities like this would not be possible. We hope you will choose to help us.
