This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In our 3rd grade classroom, every pencil, crayon, and headphone represents an opportunity for my students to grow as readers, writers, and thinkers. These essential supplies will make a huge difference in helping them engage fully in their learning.

The bulk pack of pre-sharpened pencils and eraser toppers will support daily writing activities, from practicing spelling and grammar to creating their own imaginative stories.

The colorful pencil pouches will help students stay organized, fostering responsibility and independence with their materials. The Crayola crayons will allow them to bring their stories and reading comprehension projects to life with vibrant illustrations.

The classroom headphones with microphones are perfect for supporting literacy in a small group setting, enabling students to participate in online reading programs, listen to audiobooks, and practice language skills in English. Together, these tools create an environment where literacy is not just practiced—it’s celebrated.
