This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In my classroom, every pencil, marker, and crayon holds the power to unlock learning. I teach at a Title I school where many of my students come to school each day without the basic supplies they need to fully participate. Despite the challenges they face, they show up eager to learn, create, and grow.

This project is designed to provide daily classroom essentials—pencils, dry-erase markers, and color map pencils—that my students use in nearly every lesson.

These tools are not just supplies; they are keys to helping students express their thoughts, build confidence, and stay actively engaged.

I also create and use hands-on learning activities that require lamination so they can be reused in centers, small groups, and independent practice. Lamination helps keep these resources clean and durable, making them last all year long.

In addition, I rely on Teachers Pay Teachers (TpT) to access high-quality, teacher-created resources that align with my students' learning levels. TpT materials allow me to enhance lessons with engaging, differentiated content that meets the unique needs of each learner in my classroom.
