My Students

As a teacher in a school that serves students in Pre-Kindergarten through third grade with different learning styles and levels, it is difficult to actively engage all students. I teach 23 second-grade students who are eager to learn new skills and practice them until they are infused into their brains.

The students in my class are excited to accept new challenges with vigor and strive to be the best they can be.

My students love to practice new skills using engaging books, materials, and Chromebooks. With the assistance of these positive and meaningful learning experiences, students will strive to reach academic excellence and goals.

My Project

Students love to explore different types of materials to use for writing. As you know, most children love to write with markers, pencils, dry erase boards, colored paper and other items.

They especially love to interact with different writing materials to publish work and share with others.

Any educational experience allowing a child to work independently will improve retention and promotes active engagement.

The opportunities provided by different writing materials are phenomenal and prove to be engaging for students developing necessary writing, reading, and mathematical skills.

Students will use the dry erase boards daily with our new phonics and math series. Each lesson requires students to write information as a whole group, small group, and individually using dry erase boards. Students will be using materials during reading as a whole class and again in small group instruction. These materials can also be used in a remote learning environment as well! With the use of these materials, students will become better writers across all subject areas!.
