My Project
At our high school in Hawaii, students thrive when they’re engaged, moving, and thinking out loud together. I want to transform a plain classroom wall into a writable space where students can brainstorm, solve problems, collaborate on labs, and visually track their learning.
This writable wall will become a central tool for active learning and creative expression.
To bring this vision to life, I’m requesting whiteboard sticker paper and border trim to turn a large section of our classroom into a neat, organized dry-erase wall. This will give students a shared space to write, draw, and revise ideas during science labs, group projects, and daily warm-ups.
In addition to the whiteboard setup, I’m also requesting practical items that will make our learning environment cleaner and more comfortable:
Tennis balls to place on the feet of lab stools to reduce noise and prevent floor damage. Liquid hand soap and a durable dispenser to support cleanliness, especially after hands-on lab activities.
These small changes will make a big difference. Students will have a quieter, more functional classroom and a collaborative workspace that supports academic risk-taking and student voice.
Mahalo for supporting our students’ creativity, learning, and wellness!
