My Project

Wrestling teaches athletes how to work through pain and discomfort. Wrestling teaches toughness. Wrestling teaches discipline in every individual and as a team.

Obtaining proper shoes can aid in recovery, help to protect against common injuries associated with wrestling, and also aid in performance.

We're an urban school. That means that we can estimate how many will enroll for school, and we always know that we'll have strong turnouts for both boys' and girls' wrestling. Wrestling can be an intimidating sport, but it’s also one with great potential to develop young adults, both physically and mentally. This is why having new equipment is vital for the progression of the students.

Even if a child never wins a match, he/she will learn a lot about themselves and how they fit into the world. While it’s true that other sports can teach most of these lessons, the intensity of a wrestling season is hard to match. With your contribution, you can take pride in knowing that the children will be grateful and you can take pride in knowing the donation is a huge part of their personal and team success.
