My Students
My students want nothing more than to be independent in their general education math class. However, so many of them are lacking the math fact fluency to be successful without support, which they lack at home. Here in school. I would love to show them how much FUN learning can be - math in specific.
My students have been working so hard in becoming a little family in the classroom.
Many of them do not have any support at home. They often arrive in 4th grade with none of the skills needed to be successful, so we have to work extra hard to bring them up to grade level.
My Project
With the Multiplication Wrap Ups, my students will have a fun and interactive way to learn their facts. Often, they lack motivation. My hope is that this will encourage them to want to learn and see how fun it can be! They will start each math class with a "wrap up" lesson and turn on their minds to the math world.
With your donations, the students can see how much fun learning is!
It will encourage them to learn, come to school, and participate in activities in the classroom. If they can learn their multiplication facts, they will be able to increase their math skills in division, fractions, problem solving...the list in endless!
