This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This year we are starting a new community service project: Wrapped In Hugs! Students will be creating soft, cozy no-sew fleece blankets for children and their families facing challenging circumstances. With your support, we can expand our outreach efforts and touch the lives of even more individuals in need.
A simple fleece blanket can serve as a powerful symbol of hope and solidarity, reminding those in need that their community cares deeply about their well-being.
This project also fosters a strong sense of unity within our school community as students will come together for a common cause, strengthening the fabric of our society. Together, we can create a network of care and compassion that brings warmth and comfort to those who need it most.
