Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I love that my students love to create by drawing, painting and sometimes even molding.
Putting my kiddos art in these cool frames and displaying them on the school walls will make my students feel extra special.
I love to see my students faces light up as they walk past their displayed art. The artist books, pastel and charcoal paper will make for a fun lesson with pastels or chalk. The tissues are multi purpose...they can be used for the sniffles and to spread the chalk on the charcoal paper. I love to give my kids a release from the everyday lesson. Whether it be a quick draw me what happened in the story or a full blown lesson on one of the greats in art followed by a hands on art activity.
